Only been in Melbourne for 4 days after comin 4,500k from Perth on our bikes. I just happened to stumble across another Demo day from one of the local shops. Was pretty stoked as ive not been windsurfing since April so it was great to get another session in.

Arrived at 1ish waiting for my mate Craig to bring a spare wetsuit that I didnt even need as the waters that warm. Once all set up, I tried a load of various rigs but it was the usual case of a demo day whereby all the kit suited for the conditions is in constant use. I was mainly testing out the new 2006 NP sails such as the combat, Excess and Zone. They were only around the 6M size and the wind was pretty lame. Managed to get planing once which felt a luxury.
We were waiting all afternooon for the 20 knot sea breeze to kick in but it never happened.
Had a quick bash on a land rig as well which was pretty good fun.
Shame about the conditions but it was good to get a windsurfing session in unexpectedly.
Maybe next March before I get another session in
